Since the young age of 8 years old Glisha Dela Cruz belted out Oh Canada to thousands of people at the Fort Langley Canada Day Celebration. She has grown up on that stage before our community’s very eyes. Now at 19-years- she is a Rhythm n Blues songstress with international hit singles to her name.  With dulcet tones and mellifluous cadences; she delivers vocals that encompass her listeners with emotion as she shares messages from the heart.

Glisha’s career in songwriting took off when she released in September 2018 her first single, Over Myself, which garnered thousands of streams worldwide within the first month of release. It has since surpassed over 283,000+ streams on Spotify alone, an impressive feat for a debut song. She released 2 other original songs in the past months, Scars and Scratches, which was also her first music video, and the recently released “Unheard Of”, written during these pandemic Covid-19 times.

Glisha, who is an independent artist, earned recognition by the Canadian Joey Awards, where she was awarded “Best Performance in a Recorded Song” in November of 2019.

Glisha is now on her 2nd year at a Music Technology course and is currently working on her debut album.
