A true display of Canada’s ethnic diversity, “Kunda” - meaning “family” – is a multi-cultural group of performing artists who have toured extensively throughout BC & beyond, sharing their vibrant cultural heritage through the universal languages of music & dance. Fronted by Kocassale Dioubate, a Mandingo-tribe griot (singer, musician, and keeper of tribal tradition and oral history), Kunda’s performances are vibrant and diverse, packed with color and energy, showcasing exotic costumes, traditional instruments, explosive percussion, high-energy dances, and joyful melodies. Rhythmically contagious, they are bound to get your feet tapping & hands clapping to the beat!
